Hair extensions

How long do hair extensions last on average?

The lifespan of hair extensions depends on the hair type, the chosen method, and the care. Generally, we use the following guidelines for proper use and maintenance:

  • Remy nanoring extensions have an average lifespan of approximately 3 months.
  • Virgin nano ring extensions go on average 6 months with it.
  • Premium virgin wefts have an average lifespan of approximately 9 months.

Proper care, using the right products, and correctly following the aftercare instructions significantly impact how long your extensions stay beautiful. Using the full Luxury Gold care line and following our aftercare instructions maximizes their lifespan, and you can claim the warranty under our terms and conditions.

How many hair extensions does my client need on average?

The number of hair extensions needed depends on the hair density, the desired length and volume and the chosen method. We use the following numbers as a guideline:

Nanoring extensions
For thin hair, on average 75 to 100 tufts required.
For normal hair this is usually around 100 to 150 tufts.
For thick hair, it is often used 175 tufts or more to achieve a beautiful and full result.

Weft extensions
In case of thin hair, usually 2 packs Enough.
For normal hair we recommend an average 3 packs.
For thick hair, it is usually worked with 4 packs or more.

How do I determine the right color for hair extensions?

You determine the correct color in the lengths and ends of the hair, where your natural hair transitions into the extensions. Here, the color should blend as naturally as possible for a beautiful and invisible result.

Shipping

When will my package be shipped?

Orders placed on working days before 9 p.m. are placed, are shipped the same dayIf you order after 15:00 PM, your package will be shipped the next business day.

Why is my order sometimes shipped as a letterbox package?

If an order fits through the letterbox, we will deliberately send it as letterbox package. This is more environmentally friendly and makes sure that you don't have to stay home to receive the package.

I ordered the wrong color, can I return or exchange it?

How can I track my order with track & trace?

Once your order has been packed and shipped, you will automatically receive an email from Luxury Gold with a track & trace code.
With this code you can easily track your shipment online and see it expected delivery time of your package.

My mailbox package is marked "delivered," but I haven't received anything. What now?

Sometimes the track & trace status indicates that your letterbox package has been delivered, even though you haven't received it yet. This is because letterbox packages are often scanned by the delivery service at the distribution center.

In most cases the package will be actually delivered a day later.
If your order hasn't arrived after 1 business day, please contact us and we'll check it for you right away.

What guarantee do you offer on hair extensions?

In addition to basic care, daily factors also play a role in the condition of hair extensions. Exposure to sunlight, chlorine or seawater, sport, perspiration en friction from clothing or accessories can affect the quality of the hair.

We advise to:

  • avoid contact with chlorine and salt water or care for the hair immediately afterwards
  • to wear the hair up during sports
  • use soft hair accessories

  • do not apply any chemical treatments to extensions

Damage caused by these external influences or by incorrect use is not covered by the warranty.
